Scott Niedermeyer is UFA. It would be great if we can sign him cheep for a year or two. Maybe he can retire here. I think he would be a good short term replacement for Mitchell (if we don't sign him). Watching him play in the olympics shows that he can play D against top level forwards in today's NHL.

for a while now SOB has been vigneaults whipping boy. i feel sorry for the guy, especially since he's done everything management has asked of him for this year. sob > alberts any day.

supposedly the suspension wasnt just about him being late, but from numerous other incidents

dont think it was just coach V but management as a whole coming to the decision to suspend him
