Playfair is awesome. I don't know about you guys but I'd love to play for a coach that shows that much emotion. |

holy fuck, we're playing detriot if the playoffs started today |
so Ovie with 2 points tonight only 1 behind Henrik now |
my bets are on Hanky |
i really think detroits gonna take 5th, so we're gonna be looking at LA or preds please no detroit ..... |
Same Playfair guy that coached the flames? |
calgary takes out either LA or CO for 8th.....ill keep hoping until there is no mathematical way possible...and if that doesnt happen i will accept 18 holes of golf go flames go! |
It's going to be tough for the Flames to capture the 8th spot but who knows, maybe they'll build something good from the win today. |

They're four points back and have one more game played... |
Judging by how Colorado plays, The flames need to be on their Agame to make it in one less game more or less doesnt matter at this point. the flames just need to WIN. as for the wings, they are in, they are not gonna drop the last 5 or 6 games to no one |
Yup, Flames win and they have a chance BUT the Avs haven't gone on extended losing streaks this season so it's starting to look like an impossible task for the Flames. And the game the Flames lost vs the Wings a couple weeks ago imo ended their season, if they had won that game I think they would have had a real shot at making the playoffs. |

http://espn.go.com/nhl/playoffs/matchups Calgary's remaining six games are against: 1.) Phoenix 2.) Colorado 3.) Chicago 4.) San Jose 5.) Minnesota 6.) Vancouver Good luck winning the majority of games down the stretch. Even if they somehow do win all their remaining games, they'll have 97 points. Colorado's remaining seven games are against: 1.) Anaheim 2.) Calgary 3.) San Jose 4.) Vancouver 5.) Edmonton 6.) Chicago 7.) LA Kings If Colorado wins four of those seven games, they'll have 97 points and 45 wins as well, but they have the tiebreaker against Calgary because so far they're 3-1 against them. Realistically, even if Calgary wins four of their six remaining games, that's a pretty good feat... but that means Colorado would also have to only win two out of their seven games to beat them. |
I hope Vancouver gets the chance to end calgarys playoff run |

regardless, the FLAMES need to WIN to succeed. Colorado is just as desperate anyways, they gotta fight to stay IN the playoffs with the flames looming. btw...Rene Borque's goal was quite t3h win with that spin move and Patrick Eaves shootout FAIL from the weekend |
why do i have a feeling that Canucks is going downhill ?? They looked tired and exhausted there is that 2% in me thinking the canucks will be bump off the divsion leader spot |
