It's confirmed. Nycholat IN Baumer OUT (Injured) |
Was he being playful, or just mean? That's what fans in Montreal are asking after Alex Ovechkin's pregame performance Wednesday night at the Bell Centre. As the Washington captain and his Capitals teammates did their warmup lap just prior to the game's puck drop, two kids dressed in Montreal uniforms stood by the Canadiens entrance waving flags, helping to usher the team on the ice as the home crowd roared. As one of the youngsters performed his flag-waving duty, Ovechkin skated toward the Capitals bench at full speed and stopped abruptly in front of the kid, spraying him with ice. Ovechkin then promptly took his seat on the Capitals bench. According to Montreal Gazette hockey writer Dave Stubbs, Ovechkin did the same kind of thing prior to Monday's Game 3, nearly slicing a camera cable. Stubbs suggested Ovechkin's antics are no big deal, but the Globe and Mail's Sean Gordon called him "bush league." http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/2010/...khin_snow_job/ |

I'd go with TC Carling since he's the media relations guru for the Canucks. I was waiting for a tweet from him about who'd be in. |
Team 1040 just reported that Andrew Alberts is back in |

IMO, snow spray is only rude to goalies covering up a puck with the intent of spraying their eyes. Otherwise, it's just a common phenomenon in ice hockey, or ice skating in general. |
bernier has been playing pretty well |

As a basher of Bernier, I take my word and it would be great if he can keep playing like he did yesterday. Edit: I don't think Schroeder is eligible for a call-up |
yea we shouldn't be decreasing our team's size anymore |
He had some good moments but still not playing up to his potentional, one game out of how many doesn't count in my books!! Posted via RS Mobile |
