I think Alberts knows he's on a VERY short leash. One screw up and he'll be riding the pine all night. I don't forsee him taking any stupid penalties tonight but I suspect he'll be playing very conservatively and won't be hitting as much.

They just said on the Team 1040 that they would have had Lawrence Nycholat in, but could not get the paper work done in time for deadline or something..wow they must really not have confidence in Alberts...

well after all the penalties in Game 1, Alberts said he wasnt gonna change his game. So again he took a bunch of penalties in Game 2. I would also hesitate to put him back in the lineup. But id imagine hes gonna be put on a short leash in this game by AV

Yeah, I wondered that too. In last years playoff, Rypien was a human wrecking ball running around hitting anything that moved that wasn't in a Canuck jersey. He's got great energy and actually half decent hands. However, on the 4th line, I doubt he'll get much ice time.
