Canucks Recall Yan Stastny

Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Mike Gillis announced today that the Canucks have recalled centre Yan Stastny from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

Stastny, 27, played in 16 games with Manitoba this season registering six points (2-4-6) and 18 penalty minutes. In 49 games this season with the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL, he registered 27 points (10-17-27) and 51 penalty minutes. In six playoff games with Manitoba this year, he recorded four points (2-2-4) and eight penalty minutes.

Stastny, 27, has played in 91 career NHL games with the St. Louis Blues, Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers. He has registered 16 points (6-10-16) and 58 penalty minutes. The 6’0”, 192-pound centreman played for Team USA in the 2005 IIHF World Championships.

Born in Quebec City, Quebec, Stastny was originally selected in the eighth round, 259th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

because with 934pages, that's a lot of advertisements to see everytime i reload a new page. of course it wouldn't really matter if the $/ad viewed is based on unique visitors meaning different ip but it's just annoying to flip through pages when there is like 20posts/page

Yea, I really like the speed line but I hope Grabner would be able to finish more of the chances he gets this time. He usually comes up big playing against Chicago. If I recall correctly, he did score his first NHL (and playoff) goal against Chicago.
