Jokes aside...with all his weirdness...this guy changed music....he's a legend in the music industry...i'm pulling out the double CD he made...and rocking that

this is same pedophile freak show who everyone's been making fun of, for the past, what 10+years?

In a way... I can totally understand your very honest point of view.

Everyone's been making fun of him time and time again. As soon as he dies, he suddenly becomes everyone's fallen hero, including the ones that made fun of him, and the one's that were too young to really care for his music at the time (especially his older ones in the 80s).

I've never been a big MJ fan. The only song I can really remember that was within my time and I heard on the radio was "You are not Alone"(1995). That given, I wouldn't say I don't care. The news still came as a shock, but one that would probably be forgotten soon enough...

Was fighting back tears all of yesterday and I'm just numb today. It was strange watching a genius die in front of you.

Hehe 06-26-2009 02:49 PM

Some people in Taiwan are organizing a tribute to him on wearing a white band on right arms.

Maybe we should start one...

maxx 06-26-2009 02:50 PM

i did it this morning. i just grabbed a white shirt, ripped it and wrote MJ on it in black felt pen

Harvey Specter 06-26-2009 03:09 PM

Yah, I was a fan but not a hardcore fan and I feel emotionally drained today. I also feel really bad for his kids who basically have no one left to care for them.

maxx 06-26-2009 03:39 PM

How many people does it take to break the internet?

One. Michael Jackson.

the music stores must be making a killing off of this. pretty much every music website has MJ's top albums on the front page.

I was at HMV in richmond centre today and they put these dvd cases with a piece of paper that read "michael jackson 1958-2009" and that everything of his was sold out.
