We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

Entertainer Michael Jackson is in a coma after being taken to a hospital on Thursday after suffering cardiac arrest, sources briefed on the situation told CNN. Paramedics needed to revive Jackson before taking him to the hospital, sources said. Brian Oxman, a Jackson family attorney, said he was told by brother Randy Jackson that Michael Jackson collapsed at his home in west Los Angeles Thursday morning.

I remember being about 5 or 6 and thriller was the first music video I can remember. I would pretend to be a zombie for days.

And then the black and white video, one of the first times I had CG in a video. When MJ did one of his patented spins and turned to dust.

That's the MJ I will remember.

This is really sad... grew up watching/listening to him.

Hope the music industry pays tribute to him with some sort of a concert or something as I'm sure he was one of their inspirations.
