Haven't seen it yet but if anywhere.. I would say you have the best shot at Leone.

Since the pair of N.D.C. Sandro's I covet have been discontinued for 4 years, I gave it a shot with a cheap alternative. Found it on Yoox at half price, $144 tax/duties/shipping inclusive. The main concern I have is that the toebox isn't as slim as the N.D.C. Sandro's (or as slim as I would prefer), but hopefully the supple leather that they're supposed to be made of, can be easily manipulated. Might try the tennis ball method that W+H used on the Daytons.

Still looking to get the Daytons sometime in the near future.

I was in NYC and all CL's were on sale. Should have told me last week and I could have picked you up a pair.

Pulled the trigger on these for $250 at the Sneakerboy sale.

Hopefully I won't get dinged for taxes or duties, but I'm pretty sure I will since the price didn't include taxes, only shipping.

Update: Order was cancelled due to glitch on their end :okay:
Spoiler!

No refund. Got them today. Too bad they're a bit big on me (small feet) :okay:

What size are they?

Harvey Specter 01-13-2014 11:48 PM

I saw a pair at Barneys for $650. Surprisingly Saks on 5th ave didn't have CL's for men and nor did Bergdorf. The CL shop on Madison Ave also had a sale on mens shoes but didn't see much of a selection. The CL store on Madison is pretty small and awkward.

How's the fit for blue owls? Love that tonal stitch btw.

Delatocious 01-19-2014 12:49 PM

How's Everlane's quality?

ForbiddenX 01-19-2014 12:51 PM

Pretty good for what you pay for. Got a $20 credit from them so I decided to get a couple shirts and I'd say they're worth it. Decent prices for basics

the tapered fits pretty much exactly like n&f weird guys, not sure about the skinny tho.

everlane quality is pretty decent for the price, however the shipping/taxes add up. love their snap backpack

edit: for those of you interested in buying the tapered and see that it's sold out, they actually aren't. jay is giving those who pre-ordered a week or two for any exchanges/issues before releasing the remaining pairs to the general public.
