like lightning every 1second or less been going on for a few hours now, earlier in the day u could only hear the thunder then it started to rain and now the lightning off in the distance is begining to surround us but still in the mountains

Thunderstorms have developed this afternoon over the interior of British Columbia. There is potential that severe thunderstorms could make their way to the eastern Fraser Valley. At 7:00pm radar indicates a line of severe thunderstorms just to the west of Harrison Lake moving west-southwest at 30 km/h. A severe thunderstorm just southeast of Whistler is moving southwest at 40 km/h. These thunderstorms are capable of producing large hail, strong winds, and heavy rain. THIS IS A WARNING THAT SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. REMEMBER SOME SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE TORNADOES..LISTEN FOR UPDATED WARNINGS.
