I used to eat 10 chicken nuggets, 2 bacon cheeseburgers, large fries and coke for lunch at work. If I didn't have money, I'd just get a bacon cheeseburger or double cheeseburger, and a junior chicken. Sigh... now I don't work near a Mcdicks, it sucks D:

Hondaracer 11-29-2009 12:22 PM

the best burgers come from stacking other burgers lol

big mac + junior chicken = heaven

it tastes better when they fry it with the oil that's at least a week old ahha

they dont use oil, they use shortening, sometimes their shortening will last 4-5 days in their deep friers

you can ask for fresh of anything possible, mcdonalds will want to satisfy their customers and will do anything such as give freshly made food, giving change or even give free sauce, water for free without purchase.

^just make sure you ask super politely.

"can you do me a favor? can you make it to order please?"

to avoid them spitting in your food if they're lazy, or to prevent them from giving you old ones anyway.

If you're nice about it, and are willing to wait the extra 3-4mins, they don't really care if they have to make it fresh.. it's actually easier, no pressure to get the order out asap.

Groot 12-01-2009 04:06 PM

^ LOL that reminds me of like family guy where peter wins a prize at mcburgertown and gets like unlimited burgers for life. Then he gets a heart attack.... LOL

It's not easier. They have to walk over to the fryer to dump in more food when they just made a batch 10 minutes ago. They'd also have more things to keep track of like your license plate if your going through drive thru since they'd have to deliver the food to you in the pouring rain.

I worked at mcdonald's as a 16-17yr old and it was a fucking hassle everytime someone wanted their order fresh.

I worked there for 4-5 years doing everything from MB to swing manager.. Dumping in more food wasn't an issue; and they wait in grill parking spots anyways.
No salt was a bit of a hassle though, cause you had to dump 'em on a tray out of the fryer instead of into the big pit of salt.

Yup I always ask for fresh nuggets and fries. It's the worst when you get a nugget combo and both the nuggets and fries are old school. I feel so fucking ripped off like I just paid $6+ for basically a drink.
