Do different neighbourhoods get different coupons? The pack I got has 3 of each type of coupon.

Edit: Never mind. Just looked through the coupons and saw that the breakfast ones were all different.

thought i'd bump this up

2 new burgers coming!

TOS'd 06-28-2010 11:21 AM

^ SAUCE?????

ASG111 06-28-2010 11:24 PM

do they check coupons? ie. if you give them an expired coupon they would know?
- also do you all employees know when the coupon periods are so you won't be able to use a coupon when it's past the expiry dateS?

unit 06-29-2010 08:52 AM

^they'd know....
during coupon periods they probably get tons every day.
if there was no coupon in effect and suddenly one day a customer hands them a coupon, they'd instantly know or suspect it was expired.

Was there today, and saw that they now have a Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe for $1.69.

Looks like it's the Bacon Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato added to it...

Which is silly, because you could have always just added lettuce and tomato to a regular Bacon Cheeseburger... and it might have only cost 10¢ each. Hmm, in fact... I wonder if you do that now, whether it'll end up costing $1.59 for the same burger if the garnishes are ordered separately... :D

twitchyzero 06-29-2010 04:15 PM

wut...it's only 10 cents each to add tomato?
damn

anyone else realize their ice cream cone goes up in price every half year?
i think it's like $1.50 now...might as well get DQ cones.

I'm not sure about tomato... but I know lettuce is 10¢ and Mac sauce is 10¢... so if you get a McDouble and add lettuce and Mac Sauce, you basically have a Big Mac minus the middle bun for $1.59.

Fafine 06-29-2010 05:30 PM

^ cant you get the mc sauce for free and add it yourself?

HonestTea 06-29-2010 06:28 PM

Mc Chicken sauce is free isn't it?

CorneringArtist 06-29-2010 07:05 PM

Yep, its free. I usually ask for it when I go eat at McD's. The tartar sauce costs money.

ToveriII 06-29-2010 07:14 PM

am i the only one that prefers their food fresh? like mcchicken and fries fresh? It just makes it taste so much fucking better!!

and am I the only one that eats fries with mcchicken sauce + ketchup mixed?

I either do ketchup+pepper, straight mcchicken sauce or mcchicken sauce and sweet and sour sauce mixed. I think I picked up that last one on RS.

unit 06-30-2010 08:51 AM

i wish mcdonalds promotional burgers werent so 'safe' all the time.
its fine to keep the same menu for decades but promotional stuff should be a little adventurous.

MG1 07-08-2010 09:29 AM

I miss the McRibs.

So long ago. It probably wasn't that great, but I remember it as being good.

SkinnyPupp 07-08-2010 09:38 AM

Yeah so many things are like that... I think it's a combination of the food changing, and growing up in general

Nope everytime I go to Mcdonalds I ask for my shiet fresh if I'm getting fries and or mc nuggets. Burgers are usually ok. It's the worst if I get lets say a 10 Piece Meal and both the nuggets and fries are old school. Basically I paid $9 for a drink and cold old food. So it's fresh or nothing for me.

unit 07-08-2010 12:22 PM

^definitely. i dont mind waiting 3 mins for freshly made food.

Spoon 07-08-2010 12:32 PM

if you want your fries fresh, just ask for no salt.

q0192837465 07-08-2010 03:39 PM

I'm always scared to ask for fresh fries cuz i'm worried that the guys behind will screw with ur burger. These guys make $8/hr, they've got nothing to lose.
