I'm not sure if this has been posted already since I'm not gonna go thru and read every page, but the McD's at the new Walmart in Poco has the Steak and Egg Bagel sandwich. They also had the Big Xtra a few months ago.

Yeah, it's not exactly mindblowing compared to the menu items from around the world or even the US but at least it's something different. Apparently the owner of that McD's also owns a few locations along that stretch of Lougheed which will also carry different menu items as they come.

FYI: It's available at the Lougheed Mall Wal-Mart, and Queensborough landing Wal-Mart as well.

I think it's because they don't carry the angus burgers.

I go to Lougheed when I crave one, but usually end up at BK since it's a better deal (and burger imo) overall.

I was disappointed.

I do like how the patty is somewhat like a steak. I went in expecting one the size of their sausage patties. The sandwhich itself is pretty huge. I just didn't like the flavour of their sauce.

And if I bit into something that didn't have sauce covered, it tasted very very bland.

Hmm, I like it. The first time I tried it was the best though. They had it loaded with caramelized onions :sweetjesus: I like it saucy as well.

In states they offered roughly 10 sauces to go with mcbites.

What kind of patty was inside the steak and egg bagel? IS it just a regular beef hamburger patty?

It seems like its a thicker/tougher quarter pounder patty coated with nasty HP sauce, will not repeat
