Anyone else disagree and think the poutine is pretty good?

I've dreamt for it to come back, and it came true :tears:

Only complaint is that the portion is relatively small.

just tried the poutine.the gravy is not hot enough to melt the cheese.other thn tat is alright for $4bucks

vafanculo 12-05-2013 10:05 PM

Is the poutine anything like burger kings?

I've had diabetes-sweet to bitter-burnt at Mcdonalds. So I just stick to their coffee, which I still think is better than Starbucks and Tim Hortons. So good and so hot.

Reminds me of a couple months ago when the Pumpkin Spiced Latte came back at Starbucks. Its my favourite drink but at over $4 a cup I looked for a cheaper alternative. The pumpkin spiced latte at McD and Tim Hortons was just horrible, and I think Starbucks tasted so much better and was consistant despite it costing much more.

Yeah, Costco's poutine is still among the best you can buy outside of Montreal.

Just had the McRib while in Burlington and they definitely do not cheap out on the bbq sauce there.

Anny's Dairy Bar in New West has pretty good poutine. Maple twist ice cream is what I get when I find myself in that neighbourhood.

+1 for Anny's Dairy Bar. Moreso a personal preference, but I quite like the poutine and smokies she's got (it's as close as what I've had in Montreal.) The maple twist ice cream (when available) is pretty good too!

Who here likes Bran muffins with their small coffees?

I certainly do.

Tried the poutine today. Wasn't too terrible for a mcdonald's item, but I think having it once was enough.

fliptuner 12-08-2013 01:09 PM

1 month of McRib was not long enough

Lomac 12-08-2013 01:49 PM

Is it gone?

fliptuner 12-08-2013 01:58 PM

Officially, it was only on for a month but I think they just sold them til they ran out of stock.

MG1 12-08-2013 05:27 PM

Got one last week. Like the Costco Rule, you get it while you can. Otherwise, you snooze, you lose. The poutine, however, it can go as quickly as it came..... I wouldn't miss it.

poutine this time around way better than the first run but so fucking small

Phozy 12-08-2013 07:32 PM

They still sell the mcrib at certain locations, depending if they have stock. They should still have it until around the end of month.

Razor Ramon HG 12-09-2013 03:10 PM

Poutine is so good, and I'm eating this after stuffing myself full of sushi and downing a McFlurry (no bias from being hungry).

But 3.99?!
