If the timing isn't embedding right, skip to 15:52

i dont know why u reposted that in a mcd thread but thank you

Yeah I don't get it.. is there a specific joke in that 80 minute show that refers to saving on a $3 burger? :lawl:

It's not like it's any more difficult to order. There's a reason why they even programmed a button for "Like a Mac" on their cash register.

I guess that's why they have "M Sport Package" / "F-Sport" so you can get your BMW/Lexus for "60% cheaper" instead of buying a M3 / IS-F right?

Who needs to pay 30k more for the M engine.

Your fault. The link is "http://youtu.be/6jPXv-tVgjI?t=15m52s" so it's supposed to skip to 15:52, but apparently it's not working. Fix it! :p

You gotta use seconds with youtube links! To make it easier, right click on the video itself when you get to the point you want to play. It will generate a "get link at current time" for you

Guess they have two completely different links...

I cut and pasted that link from YouTube directly like this:

Yeah the minutes and seconds links often don't work. When you right click the video itself, it will give you a seconds only link which is more reliable

Well I just had the Mcdoubles made into mac's for the first time and I must say, damn they're good. Better than a Big Mac imo because there's more meat and less bun! I ordered the bacon Mcdoubles so mine even had bacon on them. Good times. Now to sleep off these burgers..

Where's this magical location that is consistent? My usual order come out so different every time. If it doesn't look like someone sat on my meal, someone went crazy with the salt and pepper. Or they just plain screw up the order.

No complaints because I eat it all anyways. But consistent is probably the last word I'd use to describe my McDonalds experience.

What are you guys talking about. Yes there may be variances on the human controlled elements like how much ketchup gets put on your cheeseburger but McDonald's corp go to great lengths to make sure their patties taste the same around the globe, as well as their fries and bacon and pancakes in the big breakfast. So yes they are incredibly concistent

Durrann 01-04-2015 01:09 AM

do you guys ask for mac sauce on the side or in your mcdoubles?

DragonChi 01-04-2015 09:11 AM

Pretty sure they have a gun for the sauces. So I don't know how that could be varied.

Only thing that I can think of is not getting ketchup packets sometimes, the amount of salt on fries varies, or lettuce on burgers. Other than that, it's a pretty straight forward assembly line they got back there.

320icar 01-04-2015 08:14 PM

Ketchup and mustard are loaded into "guns" that are essentially calking guns. So yes it can be varied

DragonChi 01-04-2015 08:34 PM

Oh, well then I stand corrected. lol.

From what I remember, all the condiment guns are calibrated so it's 1 full shot or click per sandwich, unless more is requested. They still add seasonings out of a shaker, so that can be varied by the cook. Lettuce, onions, tomatoes and pickles are also added by hand, so that can vary.

This was pretty much what I was alluding to. As long as the items are made by human hands, there's always going to be variance. I wasn't really knocking McDonalds as being some shitty place to receive food because I love the place. I was just trying to point out that consistency across branches (and even in the same branch) isn't as high as you might think.

On a side note- the most consistent McDonalds I've come across was in the Philippines. Every product I ordered looked like it came out of a commercial. It was pretty neat to see.

corollagtSr5 01-05-2015 01:57 AM

Mcdonald coupons back on iphone app! Never slide to redeem unless they make you for unlimited coupons lol.
