All these complaints about sauce and celery. Luckily the one I got was skimped on sauce and celery:fuckthatshit:

bcrdukes 06-18-2015 08:52 PM

I decided to put the McLobster to the test, especially after seeing that willystyle was truly disappointed that it did not taste like fresh lobster. (Terrific comparison, by the way.)

Behold! The disappointment!

To my dismay, the first bite reminded me of lemon pledge. Don't even get me on the celery - it wasn't even organic. The mayonnaise isn't even made using eggs from grain-fed free range chickens. And the lobster - Jesus Fucking Christ. It didn't come as a lobster thermidor with the butter and all the fixings. I was pretty sure I was eating an undercooked rubber band.

Fuking hell, McDonalds. How did you fuck this one up? I don't even...

2/10 - Will not McGangBang. My June 18th will forever be ruined. God damn lobster was frozen.

rageguy 06-18-2015 09:04 PM

The veggie and the sauce definitely overpowers the lobster. I actually bit only the top part with some veggie in each bite.

entrax 06-18-2015 09:05 PM

tried mclobster today. i didn't expect much considering a mcrib is just another processed patty. i was actually surprised, the lemon was just a hint, i didn't even notice until about halfway through. the sauce and celery is good and it's the first time I've had food with celery that I can actually finish eating. i got some nice big chunks of lobster in mine and there was actually some texture. overall, not bad. would eat again

Verdasco 06-19-2015 05:44 AM

all the pics of it ive seen and my friends had no meat in it :suspicious:

mind was filled with lobster claws wtf

jeedee 06-19-2015 07:50 AM

fukkin lol @ some of you complaining about the mclobster and expecting it to be a 5 star meal

what do you expect? its fukin McDonalds :lawl:

bcrdukes 06-19-2015 08:18 AM

Please, I was expecting to compare this meal to a Michelin 2 star because it's such a realistic benchmark.

fliptuner 06-19-2015 08:22 AM

I'll have the McRib please.

bcrdukes 06-19-2015 08:37 AM

+1

I would much rather have the McRib.

SkinnyPupp 06-19-2015 08:39 AM

They have the Mega Mac here right now... It's everything I can do to not eat there every day this month :sweetjesus:

THIS is how the Big Mac should taste.... BIG.

Hondaracer 06-19-2015 10:31 PM

Mega mac was in switzerland last year we were there

essentially a big mac the size of a whopper. Proportions were bang on though, even if it did cost like $22 CAD lol

bcrdukes 06-19-2015 10:49 PM

It's not on North American menus, but you can order a Double Big Mac, which is essentially the Mega Mac.

Drow 06-19-2015 11:18 PM

wish mcdonalds would lay off the healthier menus and just bring on the grease.

Gerbs 06-20-2015 01:50 AM

They have a mcdouble meal for 6.79 :heckno:

jonwon 06-20-2015 02:18 AM

Isn't a mcdouble on its own like roughly 2 bucks?

evil_jigglypuff 06-20-2015 08:05 AM

$1.69 i believe for a mcdouble. Apparently there is now an actual term for when you want to make your mcdouble with big mac sauce and shredded lettuce. Just say 'DLM' instead of substituting things.

no. just say "like a mac" and they know.

Culverin 06-20-2015 10:44 AM

Yeah, I think it's like ~$2.10 post conversion.

Better meat:bread ratio of a Big Mac.
Less than half the price.
What's not to love?

Don't put words in my mouth. I was simply stating that I prefer fresh over frozen. It would be idiotic to expect fresh lobster on a $8 sandwich.

I'm not sure how that's a bad thing...

mr_chin 06-26-2015 10:34 AM

I only go Mcdonald's for their coffee, apple pie, and sometimes junior chicken.

Wendy's have a better menu when it comes to deals. $6, I get a bacon cheeseburger, chicken wrap, and chili cheese nachos. After 9 PM I can get a similar big extra combo for $6. Their value menu is way better.
