My girlfriend loves Pokemon crap and they're currently selling the toys. She's been unsuccessful so far at finding the pikachu toy and she really wants it. Know any locations that have them? Whenever she's asked if they have one they say they only have 2 types of the newer ones.

While I'm at it, for those who've worked there in the past and have gotten a warning or bitched at by a manager, was it behind closed doors? I had the pleasure of listening to a manager ream a young kid out in the middle of the busy store where the kiosks are. I felt bad for the kid to get talked to like that in front of customers. Kid looked like he was going to cry and I felt like reaming the manager on what she did in a public setting and embarrassing the fuck out of him.

That's bullshit. There's a time and place for that and that wasn't it.

Should have gotten the manager's name and complained to their manager about it. You can imagine she does that to the entire staff every single day

Never got yelled at when I worked there in like grade 10 - 12. But i'd imagine it not in the open and not in a yelling tone either.

I saw the Pikachu toy at the Boundary and Lougheed (broadway) location earlier this week.

Slightly off-topic: There is a time and place for a manager to call out employees for whatever reason it may be. In the situation you describe, it certainly wasn't appropriate, in my opinion. This sort of behaviour should be reported to McDonald's Canada. Working at McDonald's in high school had a positive and profound impact on my career today, and it was one of the best (and worst) jobs I ever had. It's something I look for in resumes when I interview candidates, but fewer kids come in these days with even a day of work experience.

Back on topic: I managed to pick up a Pikachu toy here in Toronto. I have not yet seen any Meowth toys yet, which I am eagerly waiting for.

$5 McPicks Meals has rolled out over here in Victoria. After raising the prices of McDoubles and Jr. Chicken from $1.39 to $1.69 then $1.99 now they bring out the $5 meal with Med pop, Med fries and McDouble or Jr. Chicken.

Obviously there was not enough profit being made from those who just ordered them and nothing else. Larger profit profit on the pop and fries.
