If people can post your impressions of the game I'd appreciate it. I'll stick to Forza 3 for a bit but I hope GT5 will be good.

The lack of mechanical damage is kinda crappy, reading on some forums you can shift from 4th, to 1st and it'll just bounce off the rev limiter continuously causing no damage. Can anyone confirm?

I think all reviews that are out within a few days of this games release shouldn't be accounted for.

lol gamespot is so full of it. they lost all credibility when they fired a staff member for giving kane and lynch a bad review (since eidos had HEAVY advertising on their site) and half of their staff quit.

not saying its a terrible game, but was not worth the wait.

i think ign said it best in their concluding sentence:

".....this could have been a masterpiece were it not for the fact that Polyphony was so absorbed with the detail that it took its eye off the ball."
