Oh God. u guys expect too much. But I sure hope some big patches r gonna come soon. This game as of now is definitely unfinished.

That's right folks, you get to see metal bits get smelted into steel sheets for the unibody frame of a fucking economy car before you get to see cars that have any sort of place in a racing game. Why did they cut this shit out and replace it with contemporary nonsense?

Holy I couldn't agree more, porno music and stupid intro video, I couldn't sit through 3 minutes of that video, it was so dull...

Anyways right now I'm studying econ so I put it on B-spec WINWIN :D

Ive never had that problem but i alway drive with tcoff.. Nothing wrong here maybe ur wheel? I know i had a faulty pedals so i went to my back ups and its all good now.

LOL so true!... I actually sat through the entire intro hoping for something epic and then all I got was some half-rendered pieces of metal being welded together :\
The music is a total wtf as well! It's suppose to be a RACING game ... the music sounds like something a soccer mom would have humming on the stereo on the way to buy some groceries... :\

Cman: I really don't want to have to buy XBox and another steering wheel ... BUT there is a glimmer of hope. I heard they (PolyPHONY) will add new cars that can be downloaded, hopefully at least some new RUF's ... as of now apparently if you get a lucky draw you can spot an older RUF in the Used Car section ... which is totally bogus! :2finger:

ah yea here's the clip that fully exposes the flaw of car sounds in GT, simply put seems like they just focused on the engine sound alone totally leaving the exhaust out. It's like a car with no exhaust engine only, for those of you that have VQ engines FX45/G35/350Z you know the distinct throaty VQ gurgle and what it is, in this clip you can see it's completely missing from GT while Forza really brings it true to life..

fck this game just keeps disappointing and I only managed to play 5 minutes of it before my TV crapped out on me, now I'm just sittin here reading about you guys playin it lol

Man, am i ever glad i'm not around in Vancouver to pick up this game! Seems like its really disappointing! The biggest thing thats disappointed me about the GT series is the AI. It's always following a line. Would be alot better if it were dynamic and tried to make moves to take you, or blocking you and battling for position. Not doing the same thing every single lap. I'm not a huge gamer, and have both a PS3 and a Xbox360 and have always found the Forza series to be much better than the GT series. I'm really looking forward to see what the next Forza is going to be like. I can't wait!

Thank you everyone on RS for saving me $60 or whatever, and i can use it on something else when i get back to Vancouver.

I think this game is really more about the die hard fans that will dedicate their life to the game. It's not really just a pickup and play game. Almost like a racing RPG game.
No GT game has been a "pickup and play" game, even with the arcade mode. It is like a flight simulator, it takes some learning to become good at it.

Personally I like that. There are tons of arcade style racing games to choose from.

The best I've done is third. Even worse with the Lotus, I seriously need wheels and pedals, difficult to be soft on the brakes with the controller.

i dont have the problem with the 1->2 mis-shift off the racing line..but I'm finding that my gear turns to neutral when the AI bumps me..??

and yeah..which wheel set-up in options are you guys choosing for G25/27? Anyway to map the buttons?

i got second, after driving for 30mins... :rolleyes:

the lotus one is just hell. the real car would be easier to drive IMO. its nuts.

and im still frustrated that i couldnt get access to top gear track besides the special event. ..................


currently im at iB licence, finished basic and intermediate carting, basic nascar, basic rallying, yada yada....... all in one sit. :D
