anyone remember metrotown in the 90's? i remember in the late 90's when they had the old foodcourt that was on the bottom level, they had a giant screen for kids to play around with. You stand infront of the projector and it puts a big shadow of yourself on the screen. And also i vaguely remember wayyy back in the early 90's probably 90-91 before they even had that projector and screen there use to be a toy store there.. anyone remember that?.. i miss those days

The foodcourt used to have this jap place. California roll + teriyaki chicken on fried rice for like $5. Was an awesome deal.

the old food court is where the Coach is now, that general area. I remember playing at Playdium then going downstairs for food. I still have those cups from the Rainforest Cafe!

damn...90 was when i was born... i only remember starting at like... 98 when i go 2 rainforest and playdium...

haha back in the days at metro.

food court is where T&T is at now.
watch movie and arcade near where the future shop is at now.
hanged out with raiders jackets to pick up chicks.
got there by skytrain when it was barely new.

Wow I'm going to have to check this place out next time I go back. Sounds totally different from what I remember.

Do they still have that sports store with the 100 meter track?

I went to metro the other week and I couldn't believe how much it's changed. Last timei went there was like 5 years ago

did any of you guys skip school to go hang out at metro? haha i remember those.. fun times.

wow, it couldn't have even been that long ago.. weren't all the reno'sjust RECENTLY completed??? when did they tear down the old food court?

I miss the times when you pay $10 for 1-hr of unlimited gaming between 9AM-11AM or something on Saturdays. It was something worth waking up for.

Then, after consumed from hours of gaming, my friends and I would go to rainforest and have lunch (which now became Old Navy and the bathroom). Miss those old days :cry:

I remember when Zellers was once Woodwards. Best department store ever! Bottom floor had the best Christmas and toy displays (where T&T is now).

There used to be this big ass asian restaurant somewhere where the foodcourt is now... good food. I miss it :(

I remember the skywalk to get to the other side too! With Guess at the beginning of one end, and a teddy bear convience store thing at the other. Whenever you look out the window, you would see a parked skytrain on the tracks
