^ That was my lunch today. Deluxe Chuck Wagon w/ fried egg, mushrooms and weiners (and a poutine on the side which was decent but not the best). And no, I'm not some fat obese kid. I just happen to have a good appetite =D It really hit the spot, but prepare to go through a lot of napkins.

that looks yummy.. but it should also be put in the menstruation stories forum.. :haha:

That is SICK. My friend and I plan to add all the extras one day including a 3rd patty.

Did you manage to finish yours? How was the add-on weiner?

bcrdukes 03-04-2010 09:15 PM

The next time I go back, I'm going to ask them to go easy on the sauce.

I did indeed sir, and took a couple bites outta my poutine before I thought to myself that this might be a little too much fatty foods for one sitting :p

orange milkshake? that'd be a first for me, wish they had it.

can't wait to try this

Mr.Jay 03-08-2010 05:53 PM

Had a burger today

not bad but you can tell the patty is generic or at least thats what I thought when I had it.

Fried egg makes everything better, such a good extra

SlySi 03-09-2010 09:20 AM

Twice in a row. Ordered take out. Took it home. And it was over cooked patty. Called them to complain. The new chefs are horrible. They say they will give me a free burger next time. Told them, dont care about the free burger. Just cook it right...

Mugen EvOlutioN 03-09-2010 09:27 AM

is it just me or the burger looks really slopy, and soggy

:(

just think of it as mechanical digestion you dont have to do yourself. and its gonna look like shit in your stomach anyways :p

Drow 03-09-2010 11:33 AM

mother of jesus that looks good but i think adding weiners in might be overkill

Presto 03-15-2010 11:13 AM

Had a combo burger yesterday.

While it was decent, it didn't quite taste the same. I couldn't see if the grill they were using was the one from the original location. Big Fail if the new owner bought a new grill, since the decades of grease buildup on the old grill is what gives the burgers their taste. I'm definitely going to give it a shot again, though.

There were quite a few people working in the kitchen. I guess they're mass training.

fliptuner 03-15-2010 06:05 PM

When I went last week, I got the regular Chuck Wagon (no L/T) w/ fried egg and a side of rings.

Both tasted great, egg wasn't over-done and the rings were fresh and crisp. The only drawback was the sauce that came with the rings - somewhat bland, needed more of a kick.

Hey do they accept Visa ?

The last time I went there, 2 weeks ago, the entire kitchen staff were their kids.

BinsentoW 03-18-2010 01:44 PM

No Shakes for awhile.

So I went to Wally's for lunch today and got myself the Deluxe Wally burger - as is and asked them to go easy on the sauce.

That was one heck of an awesome burger. So simple, yet so satisfying and delicious. Sorry, I did not take photos as the burger was just too awesome - a $3.50 worth of awesomeness. Super soft and doughy bun, fresh lettuce, tomatos, onions, and the beef patty - MMMMMMMmmmmmMmMm! :D

HonestTea 03-19-2010 05:44 PM

Tried it today and it was okay, got the Deluxe Wagon + Egg and skipped on the fries but my friends said the fries were good, so...lol

Overall it was nothing special IMO

The_Situation 03-28-2010 10:51 PM

Do the burgers come with some sort of special sauce? mayo?

!SG 04-04-2010 10:14 AM

didnt like it.

the only good thing was the yam fries.

orderd the chuck wagon burger, the patty tasted weird. i would say it had the texture of the mcdonalds sausage but without the taste.

fliptuner 04-07-2010 06:16 PM

Good reminder, gonna have to try those yam fries.

subordinate 05-09-2010 10:15 PM

Tried Wally's, the sauce definitely makes the burger.

Ratings: 3.5/5

Reason: Patty....generic frozen patty
Fries need to be left in the oil longer; fries should be crispy, not soggy.

And the fried egg, was nicely cooked, slightly runny.

bcrdukes 05-09-2010 10:17 PM

I think I will go tomorrow for lunch. :D
