Update on my Accident

Went to doctors today. I got injured upper back, shoulder, chest, left neck and right around the lower rib cage area or as i like to call it the underboob. also got tender lower back, and slight headache, which i hope is just from everything and will eventually go away FAST. i hope =(

went today to see my car with niteraven, and even one of the icbc adjusters that was there, took a quick look at my car and said the A pillar is smoked, the B pillar is twisted, roof is buckled, shock tower is buckled.

i took all my personal belongings best i could. damn i kept a lot of crap in the car.

I think someone mentioned it, the passenger front curtain saved my face from being cut even more with shattered glass. just that little bit of coveraged helped!

Thanx guys for all your concerns, no i dont need tips or anything on how to deal with icbc personal injury, thats where my lawyers come in.

Im now just worried what icbc will give me for christina, as i really want to buy another GS.

If you have a concussion, no matter how slight it is, make sure you take care of it. Advice from a guy with 2+ concussions.

b/c icbc always tries to screw you...i just settled my claim not that long ago myself...had lawyers and it was a good thing that i did because they tried to pin it on me / 50/50 when it was obvious to everyone it wasn't my fault etc so again lawyers ftw

that is a sad picture :(

Hit up a hot tub to relax your muscles.. Epsom salts in your bath etc..etc.. to help with muscle aches and bruises.

link 'bout epsom salts

Also do a lot of stretches so your muscles slowly get its full range of movement back. Chances are it's tense and tightened up due to the shock.

The other thread was removed and he may not have seen it before it was.

Good luck! Hope the injuries wont develop into chronic.

El Bastardo 03-27-2010 07:57 PM

RIP Christina but we're lucky to still have !SG in operating condition.

tofu1413 03-27-2010 08:00 PM

get well soon dude!

fishing666 03-27-2010 08:01 PM

i recognize this area it's Moscrop and willingdon at BCIT

i hate driving that area so many BCIT guys try to race you around that area.

!SG 03-27-2010 08:24 PM

i got tboned while making a left onto moscrop/deerlake.

i hope and plan on getting another GS. its just such a shame, the car was getting geared up to show again at DTP. i probably wont win, but i was gonna go all VIP (minus the crazy poking wheels) and put on my best foot forward to show her off (with my rabbit faux fur carpeting, champagne flutes, crystal glass bucket, and crystals in all...)

sigh...

this weekend, i was suppose to go to a wedding today/tonite, but i told them i cant go. i cant sit for too long, without getting sore. and i was gonna make the trek out to seattle for golden gardens meet! scratch that now...

sorry, just a little depressed.

im trying to stay mobile, keep walking around the house. i fear is i just sit, and rest like everyone said, i will tense up and really regret it...

doctors visit went ok, doctor was counting up all the nicks and scratches from the glass shattering. my arm would have been worse if i didnt wear my jacket. and my face would ahve been a lot worse if i didnt wear my glasses and if it werent for my curtains blocking that little bit.

Inaii 03-27-2010 08:41 PM

Things make look bad now, but remember, you're alive and you have lots of people who care about you, even those you hardly know! :) Good luck and positive thoughts on your recovery!

!SG 03-27-2010 08:46 PM

hearing too many horror stories about icbc and lowballing on appraisal.

if my back wasnt screwed up enough, now i fear i may have to limp over to a drug store and pick up some lube and be prepared to be ass raped.

im expecting my facial expression when they tell me the outcome of my car, and everything to be something like  followed by :(, then

Inaii 03-27-2010 08:51 PM

I'm sure with a lawyer it won't be as bad as if you were doing this on your own :)
