So I almost got arrested at the US BORDER BLAINE
 

Need a bit of help here,

I was gonna go down to the states to do some shopping at the Seattle Premium outlets, until I was called into the customs border office. After waiting in line for 1 hr, and sitting down waiting to see wtf was up with my passport for another hour. 2 agents came and hand cuffed me, sat me down and said I had a warrant for my arrest in the state of washington. THey would not tell me why, until 1 hr later.

Apparently, it was over a old ticket i had back in the summer that I failed to pay off. They didn't explain to me how I can pay it, or how I can have the warrant dropped.

Question, now. How do I get the warrant off my ass ? They wouldnt even let me pass the border if i wanted to pay!

Do you remember receiving a ticket back in the summer?

so they cuffed you and released you, doesn't make sense

if there was a warrant for your arrest you'd be in jail

then they make you pay for the ticket and release you

THIS is why you don't ignore traffic violation tickets that you get in the US.

We should direct users to this thread anytime someone asks what they should do when they get a speeding ticket down south.

I remember u askin about if u should pay a ticket u got in the US in the police forums.

We all warned you to pay any kind of ticket u get.

I'm pretty sure you a chance to pay it off and then they bar you from coming to the US for awhile too.

When you get a ticket. It tells you how to pay for the ticket. You basically mail them a cheque to whatever address is listed in US funds.
