man this thing should be a weapon |
The Americans are better at killing themselves than any other group. Al Queda who? |
It's kinda what I do now anyway....Protein > Carb! |
Here's an excellent post on the double down. It confirms my thoughts on it - it is not as unhealthy as a similar burger you'll get at a fast food place, and doesn't cause a huge sugar spike. Also, it will keep you fuller longer. If you really think high protein/high fat is bad for you, and low fat/high carb is good, you need to open your eyes. |
yes keep eating processed foods. It does you good. |
Yes because nobody who freaks out about the double down ever eats at restaurants. |

I know fast food sucks. I wouldn't call it the downfall of society though :lol And something like the Double Down is actually an improvement over pretty much everything else, so it's ironic that people are freaking out about it. If they can go back to using animal oil to fry the food in, replace all buns with chicken breasts, and use real cheese and bacon, this would actually be a pretty damn healthy meal. Unfortunately, what people think is healthy is literally the opposite of true, so that will never happen. |
any meal that makes you feel like shit after is never a healthy meal. |
Any meal without a huge amount of carbs doesn't make you feel like shit. So you're right, the double down is healthy ;) |
fuck why am i still awake. |
Probably from a blood sugar spike from your high carb dinner ;) |

http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/476/04112010027.jpg Blurry because I didn't let my camera focus, I was too fucking hungry. Got it the day after Tiesto on my way back. Chicken was a bit salty. Very filling though, considering the chicken pieces were huge. KFC chicken thighs in Seattle were HUGE!! |
the fuck? i was looking forward to it |
I believe there is a KFC in Bellingham which is only 30mins south of the border. |
the article says their testing the market for it for first, then maybe later if its successful, we'll get it. I wont drive all the way down there just to try it though haha |
