I don't think anything about the red meat/cancer bullshit, just as I don't think anything about most "things that cause cancer". Everyone loves to say that shit without solid proof. Or at least what I would consider to be solid proof (for instance, smoking cigarettes)

Anyway, like I said, the Double Down is certainly not health food. But not only is it better than what you'll get at Subway, it is MUCH better. And it is better than most similarly sized burgers you'll find elsewhere.

when this thing first got announced i got in a big argument on another forum arguing the merits of the protein in the "buns" in the double down VS a white loaf of bread you get at subway, etc.

People are idiots, it's really as simple as that.

Alll you have to do is look at the nutrition info. Compare it to a Big Mac or a Turkey sub, or ANYTHING around the same size. The Double Down compares favourably every time.

But of course, that would require a functioning brain.

Don't know if they still do but the KFC's in Regina always had burgers when I was growing up there. I used to order them all the time and they delivered.
