Tomorrow we have perhaps the first interesting game for this world cup: Portugal vs. Brazil.

Not really. It's a mean nothing game to both teams. Brazil needs a tie to remain first in the group. Both teams are through regardless.

Nope they have 1GF and 3GA while Portugal has 7GF and 0 GA. So even if they both tie with 4 points, Portugal goes thru.

Just watching the Italy game again, man Italy looked so weak for most of the game and only came out to play when they went down 2-0. If they had given a little more effort in the first half and got the lead, they would have won.

If Brazil beats Portugal 1-0, Ivory Coast would then need 10 goals against North Korea to win by Goal Differential.

Fuck me...I read in the paper that they're discussing a South Africa bid for the Olympics.

NO.

Just no.

Could you imagine? Goddamn vuvuzellas again.

NOTHING should ever be held in South Africa ever again except a vuvuzella concert...and that's only so they know where to aim the missiles.

The vuvuzellas were annoying at first but I'm use to the vuvuzellas now.

And if you can, find a live feed for ESPN on the net. I have dish network at home and the ESPN picture, audio and overall quality is much better compared to CBC. Only downside is they have one host who yaps about the US team non stop and acts like the US team are a bunch of soccer gods.
