when i worked at bmw, the x3 was the biggest piece of shit on the lot. overpriced and drove like crap.

The new X3 will have an M sport package option should look better with it. Left Lane has some photos. It will also sport the twin scroll N55 engine sub 6 sec 0-60. add a tune and you can easily shave another.5 off that. Not bad for a grocery getter. http://www.leftlanenews.com/bmw-x3-2011.html | |

for the market it is intended for (yuppies with kids +/- dog) -- they've done a good job with this vehicle.
i think it looks good -- definitely looks like a bmw inside and out
