personally i just explained it to myself that being a Hospital it was probably the last stronghold of the defense (hence all the bodies they've bagged and piled up) so the main character was probably being cared for long after the Zombies surfaced

and yeah the 2nd episode was nice but it seemed soooo short i wish it'd be a 2hr or 1.5hr show each week :D instead of 45mins sans commercials

Zombies don't NEED to eat to survive. They run better when they eat but there's evidence in the first couple episodes that they survive without eating people. They just crawl around slowly and aimlessly.

People, on the other hand...

When you're in a coma, you don't really expend much energy. I wouldn't be super surprised if someone survived on nothing for a couple weeks in a coma. He probably woke up as a self-preservation response to needing something to drink or eat.

Debating on the science and medical validity of a zombie show is kind of pointless....

I don't know about that, because at the beginning he found that upper torso of the zombie in the field next to the bike.

When he went back to kill it, it seemed much slower and almost dying, probably because it hadn't eaten (because it can't chase anyone)

I think you'll see why I'm right in later episodes. About halfway through the comic, what I'm saying is pretty much correct. Zombies don't need to eat to survive but they do get weaker if they don't.

We all know that pretty much the only way to kill a zombie is to decapitate or destroy the brain. If that's true, then you can't simply kill them with...starvation.

When you're unprepared for the inevitable zombie apocalypse, don't come running to us when you need to know important things about fucking zombies.

If anything I'd think they'd be more susceptible to attacks in the forest since there's really no physical boundary between the zombies and them (they live in tents for christ sakes)

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that there aren't any zombies in the forest because the smell of the wilderness is masking the scent of the living. I'm gonna take another wild guess and say that there weren't any zombie around the department store because they all smelt Merle's bleeding arm and followed him wherever he went. Can't believe there's only three episodes left in the season. :(

Season 1 only has 6 episodes, season 2 only has 13.

Last nights episode was borringgggg, seemed to just drag the shit on and on to prolong the episode

Last nights episode was mostly boring, but it ended really well. Cliff hanger! I am anticipating some revenge soon!
If I was in one of those guy's shoes, I would have been more ruthless. There is no way in hell that I would tolerate douche bags that put others at risk.

Just so people know, once again, the content of this episode is not in the comic book. This all seems a bit...uh...dragged out but the emotion is great...and the acting is top notch so far.

I'm more excited about season 2. I think they're just going to build hype this season...season 2 is when the shit hits the fan.

Oh, and if you looked and listen closely, they're up near the top of a mountain with a quarry to their back. That's a pretty decent defensive position as you only have watch in one direction.
