If you file for bankruptcy, they'll sell anything you own/in your name to get the money.
If you have nothing in your name, you get Jail time. Once you're in jail, your Child goes to it's Mother, or in an orphanage. If the child's mother takes the child, the Mother can sue for Child Support.

I don't remember what happens after that, but DrMike can sue him again, and make the $40K jump up to $80K+. Not including all the Lawyer fees that DrMike can make Anthony pay, as well as wage loss. IIRC.

I'm not sure how it is in Canada but filing bankruptcy in the States doesn't get you out of paying restitution in a civil suit in most cases. I could live with $600/mo.
