Hey just a question guys, I've never been to Point Roberts, are the border waits quick all the time? And is there any shops or anything over there?

Thanks!

^The border waits at PR are usually pretty quick ~5-10 minutes. From what I remember, there isn't much over there that I saw except a couple gas stations, and parcel pickup shops like tsb.

Point Roberts lineups go on a daily cycle. Basically if you go during rush hour - it will be rush hour there.

Fridays after work (around 4-5PM) is a big no-no, as even in my Nexus lane I wait a good 10 minutes+)

Best time to go is anyday during the mid morning (10-11AM) or mid afternoon (2-3PM)

There's a bunch of parcel/shipping places, a hardware store, 2 banks, a bar, a marina, a handful of gas stations, a supermarket, and some bed & breakfast style places.

Hmmmmmm, thinking about maybe taking a cruise there to fill up a full tank + having some beers there at the marina in the summertime!

Real-time updates aren't really necessary... it's always 15-20¢ cheaper than Vancouver.

Not sure about Point Roberts but the Shell in Blaine I believe is open 24x7. I showed up at 2AM once and it was still open.

As for prices, at the Shell on D St in Blaine, as of Monday, prices were 3.89/3.99/4.09 per gallon.
