Point Roberts Gas Prices

Since I'm there at least once a week to fill up anyways, I thought that I should create a thread and post the prices up. Hopefully it'll help anyone looking to go down there for gas

I'll mostly be posting Texaco pricing, since they are the cheapest "big company" station there.

October 7th 2010

Reg: US$0.90/L
Plus: $0.92/L
Supreme: $0.94L

Canadian cash price for Reg: CAD 0.98/L

If youre there once a week, wanna help me pick up a package at TSB? :)

When it comes to Chevron at Pt. Roberts, it doesn't like CIBC VISA cards for some reason.

Just a heads up on that.

gearshifter 10-07-2010 04:01 PM

^ yeah, but u can just go in the store and pay cashier with the cibc visa!

Not during closing hours:rofl:

lgman 10-07-2010 04:28 PM

I swipe my card on the machine outside all the time. I never once walked inside.
Reg = 87 No Ethanol
Plus = 89 No Ethanol
Supreme = 91 No M%@#F*%k$&g Ethanol
but no Supreme plus.

Are you going down there for a purpose? Or just purely to fill up your tank?

Same. :D

I just go there to fill up - I work 15 minutes away from there, and I got a Nexus pass, so it's not that out of my way...

If you guys want me to pick up packages - I'll give it some consideration, since everything has be declared when I cross with Nexus (else one bust = no Nexus forever) Maybe I'll charge a surcharge as well, and then donate that amount to RS.

The can-am takes cibc visa card.

What exactly does it do? If it asks for a ZIP code, there's an "override" you can try - use 99999 for the ZIP code. Worked for most machines that ask for your ZIP code for security.

Pretty much when you insert the cibc visa card, it will immediately tell you to go inside to see cashier.

Wanna pick up my roids? No Danger to you :rolleyes:

Never pick up anyones elses package.

optiblue 10-09-2010 05:55 PM

Last time I checked, the state of washington doesn't offer octane 94. They're trying to blow up my engine!

I use TSB all the time, they have pretty good prices. I'm driving down on Monday to pick something up.

I got 4 rims and 4 tires recently and that costed me $34 USD, and they can also accept Canadian.

X-small 1 to 15 pounds $3.00
small 16 to 25 pounds $4.00
medium 26 to 35 pounds $5.00
large 36 to 50 pounds $7.00
X-large 51 to 100 pounds $9.00
XX-large 101 to 150 pounds $18.00

and does the Chevron there have 94 octane? or is it only Texaco? I'd rather go with Chevron since I always use it, but Texaco wouldn't hurt I guess..

Mugen EvOlutioN 10-09-2010 11:07 PM

you guys always declare everything?

car parts? tires?coilovers? misc items?

Gh0stRider 10-10-2010 12:49 AM

Nexus Pass FTW!

I dont always declare everything. Large items, i do. Small items, not all the time.

!Kodamu 10-10-2010 12:50 AM

Yes, declare everything cause there is no point in going down to point roberts.

I mostly get waved through

I assure you that you save more than $6 in gas. 1 full tank for me here is $70. In Blaine, a full tank is roughly $50. Plus, most are going to pick up items from the shipping places so the savings are more.
