panhandlers are often down on their luck and really need the money to survive, these filipino lady/scammers seem to do it to earn a living :suspicious: |

If a squeegee guy had a hat and I told him I'd give him $20 for the hat he'd probably sell me it cause he needs the money that bad, if I was to tell the Filipino ladies to give me their charity registration number they'd probably balk at me as an insult I'll give Somone $20 to get some booze over some scam artist who's going home to a house and spending my donation on purses and shit Posted via RS Mobile |

Also at ubc. The thing is they disguised as students.. One indo/flipino girl started starring at me and just held out a pen to me. At first I thought "sweet, free pens", but then she asked if I were Chinese and held out a clipboard to me. I asked what is this for and she said "help children in Asia." (with her broken English) I wasn't convinced so I gave her back the things and I was on my way while she gives me a weird stare trying to guilt trip me. If I want to donate, I will donate to legit organizations that actually help the cause. I really don't trust these solicitors. :suspicious::suspicious: |
Saw them at dt library I had my headphones while they try to ask for money. I just pretend they aren't there and just keep walking. You think they get the hint but nope follow me for a street then give up. |
I can't wait for the next time I run into them. Just going to shout (and I have a very loud voice) "DON'T DONATE TO THESE PEOPLE. IT IS A SCAM. SERIOUSLY. YOU CAN GOOGLE IT." and walk away. |
Ask if you give them 5 dollars, will they love you long time? |
I saw a few Filipino ladies doing some donation thing at silvercity riverport. They weren't rude or pushy as the ones posted before and I didn't know if they were a scam or not. I didnt have change on me that time though |
Always ask for a charity number. |

saw them on the corner of 96th and 156th in Surrey a couple days ago, I wanted to run them the fuck over.. |
Lel a couple of them approached me downtown a couple weeks ago. Ironically, I ended up donating some baby batter to some flip female that night hehe Ty men Posted via RS Mobile |
So 2 of them walked right into our store today. one of them gave me a pen in my hand and told me to write down how much I want to donate and the other bolted passed my counter of our showroom and tried to go for the manager's office. I held my hand out and said, sorry employees only beyond this point...and the lady said in a loud voice, "you touch me and I will sue you!" I straight up shouted back "GET THE FUCK OUT SCAMMERS OR I AM CALLING THE POLICE FOR TRESPASSING, AND DON'T EVER FUCKING COME BACK." They left and I got a pat on the shoulder by my manager for being a dick lol... what a lunch... |
Two of them just walked into our Richmond office and started strumming the guitar and asking for money for orphans. We were all baffled and asked them to leave immediately. What the fuck? |
Looks like they made their way up SFU BBY too... Just got asked last week in the cafe. Posted via RS Mobile |
