Anyone try those anon asian fitting goggles? What are the best goggles to get for being able to see depth and clarity? Or should I get one for low light/night/foggy and another for bright and clear? Is oakley a frame polarized the way to go? |

but as for lens color........hur yoo gooo http://www.rosasnow.com/uploads/imag...-Chart-New.jpg |
hey in case anyone is interested, Sportchek at Richmond Centre is doing some agressive inventory blowout on prior season ski/snowboard gear. Valid this weekend only (as a lot of the item are getting packed away in storage starting Monday). Some key deals that might interest you guys would be Burton Operator (2008/2009 Model I believe)-$199.99 (2 units left, ~159cm) K2 Luna (08/09 Model as well)-$199 (or might be cheaper, dont remember, ~150cm, 2 left) A couple of really good deals on skis too, but I'm not sure if anybody skis here. Anyhow, just thought I'd share the deals. |
i bought some rose colored bolle ones from costco for $40. looks pretty cool haha. so according to that chart i cant wear it in sunlight? why is that |
Nice video Vangruver! Wish I was as pro as you haha |
I'm using some standard cheap spy's in a orangey persimmon color but I notice in flat conditions they really dont show any depth. I wound up picking up a pair of zeals that are photochromatic and polarized. Are polarized lenses less scratch resistant? What would be a high scratch resistance goggle? Quote:

Hey death2theft, where did you buy your zeal goggles? I've been looking for them everywhere locally. Posted via RS Mobile |

I'm not sure if this was posted earlier in the thread. trusnow.com gives away free stuff mon-friday at 3pm everyday. I'v been trying to win some a snowboard or bindings for the longest time. No luck yet though. |

polarized lenses help reduce the suns rays on mostly horizontal surfaces. ideally used for water sports due to the nature of the reflection on H20, adopted by goggles then taken off. I had a pair, of oakley polarized, but they were mad money....really good but remember to take good care of them, that's all i can say. The best way to pick a pair of goggle is to think of the day's you go up, and think if you want to go up on sunshine, get darker tint. If you want to go up on snowfall days, get clear, or yellow lenses. If you want to go for all around, clear/yellow/orange tinted lens. Also keep in mind that mirror coatings can be applied to all lens colors. For me, i just have 2 pairs of goggles for now, amber, and mirror tinted dark shade/grey. As I'm becoming more of a fair weather rider....with the occasional trip on a pow day. |
woot woot, cypress march 19 :D |

Edit: Looks like I'm gonna have to get some Pink Chrome Goggles. Clearly the best overall. (And most stylin') |
