Go ask my boyfriend. If he can deal with me at my worst, he can handle anything.
His favourite when I get too much to handle is let a huge stinky one out and it knocks me right out from the fumes. Great way to lose a few hours when you're stressed

Best thing to do as others have mentioned is listen, if she asks for advice then proceed to give some (the troubleshooting part), otherwise just listening usually does the job for me. I've tried giving advice before she finished ranting, and it only resulted in "are you even listening?" and "you don't even understand". Just listen
