No one has any right to lay a finger on anyone else unless its out of self defense or law enforcement etc, but we were all given a brain at birth. If Im walking around a busy area late at night im nervous as is, I wouldnt turn and face anyone if they called me anything, coward? Maybe... I didnt realize the pointless insults of the drunk warranted me sticking my neck out. Pulling out a camera and challenging a bunch of drunk idiots just isnt smart, not saying he deserved it, but I'd expect it.

Try walking down a downtown east side alley with $20 bills taped to the outside of your cloths and see what happens when you start taking the knife wielding drug addicts picture... just... not... smart.

To the people saying he would have been better off trying to just walk away, it looks like the guy who threw the punch was looking for a fight anyways. if the OP had ignored them and kept walking, he could just as easily have been sucker punched from behind, with no pics of the guys whatsoever.

To the OP: assuming your story is legitimate, then the best of luck finding these guys and recovering fully.

They were probably insulting everyone that walked out of the club alone, this guy differentiated himself by confronting them. 99% of people out there would keep walking and act like they heard nothing, the guy wouldnt go out of his way to assault a person walking away, not to mention it would be a lot harder to one punch a guy who is avoiding your hit. Standing their with a camera in your face is a sure fire way to get KO'd.

Yeah, I agree with people that say keep your mouth shut and walk away. Drunken moments = nothing personal.

Plus, even if you do confront them and get into a fight, and you win, what then? Big deal. You could possibly even get charged in the aftermath.

Now if they cross the line and you have to defend yourself, that's a whole different story.

whats he supposed to do? keep walking away from a place with people around and down a dark alley with the meat head following him? might nota just been a punch then.

if he was able to pull out the phone and take a 20 second video clip surely he could have dialed 911. he probably doesnt even need to say anything to the operators and they should be able to track his location and have police sent down to check up.

i understand that he was victimized in the end but im not too sure how much of this was self inflicted on his part. unless youre looking for a fight and want to be mr. macho...id be calling 911 for some help if i was being threatened in such a capacity as this

IMO, it wasn't about getting into a fight and it wasn't about winning. I assume if the OP was looking for a fight, or looking for a confrontation, I doubt he would be whipping out his camera. To me that just doesn't make sense.

If you're going to come to RS and ask for help. You better believe RS will do its best to help you out. That's obviously true since some members have located a picture of a potential suspect that got you all excited. :gayfight:

Now you've taken that information to the police and left behind all those who have helped you. Without RS, you would not have a lead to a possible suspect. Since there has been no activity to your account, you obviously don't care about those who helped you in your time of need. I'm hoping someone who knows the OP can pass the following message...
