We just bought a pallet of salt at work, 40 bags 25kgs. Hopefully it lasts us for a little bit as I've got 2 acres of concrete that's iced over and 8-10 tractors trailers coming every day. Had an empty b-train get stuck driving off the scale and going up the driveway with no chance of backing up at the beginning of this year. Luckily the telehandler we were renting was able to pull him out or we would have had to drive the excavator out to pull him up.

So...where's the snow?
Weather reports keep pushing back the snow start time. First from before midnight, to right at midnight, then right after midnight, and now it's already an hour past midnight nothing yet 
A firefighter friend of mine in Lynnwood WA is gonna have a very busy shift tonight. Sent me a photo, it's snowing like crazy out there already.

Radar shows most of the precipitation fell south of Vancouver
Still snowing in Duncan. Will probably be around 10-15 cm by the time commuters start to head out.
