To the 80’s kids out there - my wife and I noticed there are far fewer icicles on houses these days compared to when we grew up. I actually spotted one yesterday which sparked the conversation. Any ideas or did our parents just not clean the gutters lol

When I lived in Walnut Grove, we had huge icicles........ almost to the ground kind. Now all I see are icicles under the SUV, hee hee.

Fuckin marine drive in North van not plowed this morning. There’s like 2 roads in North van that matter and they couldn’t even plow one?

Fucking Georgia Street, the ceremonial high street of the city is still not plowed as of 10am.

But, I bet the bike lanes are nice and clear though.

Was outside my balcony take some pics from my building. Saw an Accord do some front wheel burnouts trying to get out of the parking driveway onto the street. Probably only a 20 degree incline, clearly the driver is a fucking idiot where their vehicle isn't even prepared for this weather. Then someone offered to help them push, they refused. Kept trying to get out, then eventually backed right into the building parking lot LOL.
