new season of Orange is out, not bad almost done. I think last season was better imo

Hondaracer 06-19-2017 09:30 PM

Finished 13 reasons why tonight, pretty fucked up but excellently done.

The suicide scene was pretty gut churning even for a desensitized monster like myself lol :/

Just started watching Quantico, awesome show.

Anybody else watch?

JSALES 06-20-2017 08:32 AM

Started watching El Chapo last night, we'll see if it's any good

CCA-Dave 06-20-2017 10:02 AM

Started season three of The Ranch last night. Man the first few episodes are depressing...will it pick up? Do I even care?

I did but a 3/4 of the way through season 1 I gave it up completely. I'm surprised I even made it that far to be honest.

dapperfied 06-20-2017 05:54 PM

El Chapo

8/10

The last few episodes are meh. But I'm certain it will pick up for Season 2.

It is SO BAD dude omfg

I watched the entire first season just because there was nothing else to watch in the summer so we just went through with it. I actually can't believe it got renewed for a second season while other better shows got cancelled.

Quantico is way too confusing. I stopped watching a few episodes in. My gf watches it and even she gets so confused at times :lol

I'm on episode 11 of 13 Reasons Why and it's the house party episode at Jessica's house. They totally nailed the whole Clay/Hannah liking each other and being awkward about it. Pretty sure we've all been in a situation like that at parties

StylinRed 06-22-2017 02:47 AM

Bloodline isn't bad im just into season 2

gilly 06-22-2017 10:24 AM

Yup wife and I zipped through all 6 seasons on Netflix and have 7 on standby for after the summer.

Hilarious show with the right amount of sad/drama. Plus boobs!

Glow a show about 80's female wrestling. 2 episodes in and it's kind of fucked up but it's pretty good.

Presto 06-26-2017 12:46 PM

^^^
I just saw a bit of the first episode when I was home for lunch. It's not bad, so far. At least, I got to see Alison Brie's boobs before I had to go back to work. She hasn't aged well.

They make her look that way for the show.

There's a new Chris D'elia special "Man on Fire" releasing on Netflix tonight at midnight (EST?)

SkinnyPupp 06-26-2017 04:43 PM

GLOW is excellent

dat_steve 06-28-2017 12:34 PM

Check out Okja, all the visual effects for the film were done by the company I work for right here in Vancouver. The film itself stands up well on it own. It has its quirks but overall it's a good film with a great cast. I did about 15 of the vfx shots in the film and so far the critic and audience reviews have been quite positive. It's directed by Bong hoo Jo (Snowpiercer, The Host).

dat_steve 06-29-2017 10:11 AM

hopefully they don't mess it up!
a few differences i already see are:
1) seems way more "action" packed
2) Light/Kira is a cast as a beta nobody, but in the original he's pretty much a genius stud who was always in the spotlight.

'Sense8' Two-Hour Finale Set at Netflix | Hollywood Reporter

Sense8 got cancelled after a cliffhanger ending. Turns out they're going to do a 2 hour finale...

I imagine if Netflix starts cancelling their shows without proper endings, they are going to start losing subs or at least interest in their shows. I know I am reluctant to check out new shows on certain channels (FOX) because they cancel them out of nowhere frequently.

Definitely checking this movie out. Saw Paul Dano on Jimmy the other night and the plot and preview looked very intriguing. Cool that you were a part of it
