Also Binged Narcos S3, it was awesome!!! The ending was rushed though, but I was basically on the edge of my seat the last three episodes

jeedee 09-07-2017 08:26 PM

Coherence - 8/10 - was a mindfuck

Circle - 6.5/10 - cool concept but shitty ending.

Slifer 09-12-2017 10:36 AM

^Yeah Coherence was awesome for a low budget film. 8.5/10 for me.

My rotating go-to's that I watch on repeat/in the background: Bones, The Good Wife, Departures, Blue Planet, Life & Planet Earth.

Yesterday I watched Assassin's Creed - ok but I found it a bit confusing, maybe because I don't know anything about the video game. Only really watched it because *Magneto*.

Also watched Star Trek Beyond, which was meh, fell asleep when there were about 45 mins remaining so I had to go back to it. I enjoyed Jayleh and always a fan of Spock. I hate Idris Elba's character - usually love all his work.

To The Bone has garnered some attention due to Keanu Reeve's unorthodox doctor character. He's had better work. I know the movie was supposed to promote education for eating disorders but I felt like the message underlying supported a victim mentality. It could have been a much stronger movie, imo. Kind of a waste, if you want to educate, why not send a stronger message?

I hate everything with Will Ferrell in it besides Elf. His version of comedy sucks and he's always yelling for some unknown reason.

If anyone has any recommendations for a good documentary or stand up comedy, I'll take it :)

dapperfied 09-12-2017 01:56 PM

I miss Departures, they should resurrect and film more episodes!

I wish!! If only Descending was on Netflix lol.

Ellis and Andre released a show called Over the Horizon.

The only thing id miss watching those two shows would be the bromance trifecta lol :okay:
Andre is a camera god. I love his vision.

Ill try those! Found ali wong baby cobra hilarious! Jo Koy was fantastic mostly because I too have an unnatural obsession with Vicks LOL.

However i tried watching Daves new stand up and for whatever reason I didnt laugh for any of it :(

For stand up, I find Iliza and Amy incredibly annoying. I had such high hopes but could barely get thru any of their specials.

Ari Shaffir's latest 2 part special was really funny. His previous one was not

Just saw this cus I got curious.
Wasn't too mind-fucking...but so good for a low budget film. The concept of it does kinda fuck with you.
9/10
Emily Baldoni :sweetjesus:

Speaking of mindfucks, Pre-destination was a mindfuck.

Watched narcos season 3 as well, I thought it was really good. Also binged atypical today. it was surprisingly good 8/10 at least.

Vansterdam 09-17-2017 02:54 AM

Narcos (S3)

8/10 a lot better than I expected

Ch28 09-18-2017 08:45 AM

I was kind of hesitant on watching S03 of Narcos, because it didn't have Escobar and Murphy, but the replacement of Escobar with the Cali Cartel and Murphy with Feistl/Van Ness worked out quite well.

Kamui712 09-18-2017 09:10 PM

the mist... on ep5 right now , show is a bit slow and leans too much on church talk.

I'm hanging in there for more monsters :)

cdizzle 09-18-2017 09:28 PM

American Vandal 8/10 - I really enjoyed it. A few parts had me rollin'. Well put together, decent characters and story. Cool who-dun-it story updated for today using social media. Worth the watch for sure. #whodrewthedicks

mikemhg 09-19-2017 11:08 AM

^^^ This.

Started watching American Vandal last night, definitely 9/10, I'm finding the show hilarious, it's really well done.

ScizzMoney 09-19-2017 11:18 AM

American Vandal
9/10
First time in a while I've watched more than a couple episodes of anything in the same day. Let alone 8 in 2 days.

MarkyMark 09-19-2017 11:55 AM

+1 for American Vandal, very well done and fucking hilarious
