That fbi dude has such weird mannerisms. His posture is very effeminate and his body shape is so oddly proportioned. Very poor casting despite a great show.

Erased is coming to Netflix and will be available in 190 countries! The anime is so good I hope this live action will too.

the protagonist. I googled him, he's gay. I knew it. There was something off about him - it's like a straight guy acting gay. It's completely off. Compare that to the White Collar guy. Perfectly played.

Just finished The Punisher. Great show and great on it's own without being compared the other Marvel garbage that has been released. I loved everything about it. Characters, script, story, action, twists, etc. Looking forward to season 2.

Had to give up on DS9. It was just too static with everything taking place on the boring ugly station. Plus I don't give a fuck about Bajoran religious leaders. Even the Cardassians are kind of dull.

Switched to Voyager, and while not as good as TNG of course, at least they are exploring space and going on adventures.

DragonChi 11-30-2017 09:01 PM

The point where DS9 started to take off IMO.

Spoiler!

Fuck you are missing out. Season 5-7 Dominion War arc is some of the best Trek....no sci-fi TV ever. The stuff was written in the 90s and foreshadowed the serialization of TV series today. It was definitely ahead of its time.

Skip the rest if you want, but all that Bajoran stuff sets it up for the rest of the seasons' political intrigue esp. the end of the series

DragonChi 12-01-2017 08:44 AM

"With the third season, writers from the now completed Next Generation began to write regularly for DS9."

SkinnyPupp 12-01-2017 04:47 PM

It's so dull though, and hardly any of the characters are likeable! Well I'll probably have to go back anyway once I have gone through Voyager (unless I want to give Enterprise a chance first) so we'll see

I believe you guys when you say it was really good, but for me it hasn't been enjoyable at all. That makes me sad

DragonChi 12-01-2017 05:03 PM

Yeah, DS9 was good, but I don't think it was better than Voyager or Enterprise. With Enterprise, it only got good near the end of the series.

Teriyaki 12-01-2017 09:22 PM

Shitt, are you guys talking about the original Voyager and Deep Space Nine series from years ago that was re-run over and over again on TV? I remember watching random re-runs of these as a kid and had not a flipping clue what was going on, always hoping for some glimpse of a space battle and always disappointed.:ahwow:

DragonChi 12-01-2017 10:43 PM

Epic space battle on the last episodes of Voyager!

SkinnyPupp 12-01-2017 10:48 PM

No spoilers pls!

prolepsis 12-03-2017 12:53 PM

No spoilers, but like others have said, later seasons of DS9 are much much better.

But yes, first two seasons were slow and I agree--it was just stuff happening around the station.

Later seasons have aged quite well (IMO), in terms of the depth and development of the characters, and so on. Lots of character dilemmas and other consequences of their decisions that carry through into future episodes.

If you do return to DS9 later on, would be curious to see if your thoughts/opinion on the series changes or not.

Jim and Andy about Jim Carrey playing Andy Kauffman is pretty good. These actors are really dedicated to their craft.

Jim Carrey is honestly insane, like he'll be dead in under 10 years type insane.

That docu was one of the oddest things i've ever watched, and you could tell everyone involved was completely uncomfortable with the entire situation.

MSREE 12-06-2017 08:35 AM

Watched Voyeur lol
I found it to be pretty creepy yet interesting.

Tried to watch Jim & Andy but I dont know much about Kaufman so it was hard for me to stay interested.

Back into Beastmaster now though lol me and the bf were captivated last night. Yuji the Sasuke champ got eliminated..soo unexpected!

JSALES 12-07-2017 12:56 AM

Just finished The Punisher. Pretty bad ass

SkinnyPupp 12-07-2017 02:08 AM

So far Punisher is OK. Hoping for more ass kicking and less Homeland Security investigation

mikemhg 12-09-2017 01:45 PM

DS9 gets much better in later seasons, it's a slag up until that point.

If you get a chance, watch Babylon 5, not sure why this show gets so overlooked. It's by far the best sci-fi show I've ever watched on TV. Story is fantastic.

XplicitLuder 12-09-2017 05:19 PM

big mouth is fuckin hilarious lol

blkgsr 12-10-2017 07:46 AM
