quality control sucks yes but all that matters is RIM is dealing with the issues no questions asked. Thats the big think about owning a RIM prodct you dont need to go through all of the hassle you have to with a lot of other companies

no problem with anything on mine.
and the more i fiddle around with it the more i like it. bridge works good. im starting to get a ton of my work shit in it now and sort of synced. man this thing is going to boost productivity a ton! having job site logs and notes and info and contacts in one clean place is so fucking nice!
to be able to make quick job notes on my phone (in pocket) and have them bridge to the PB (in truck) where i can expand the notes, and then sync to my PC. my god im excited. and being able to email invoices from the jobsite without having to go home to email or print and go back to get payment.
and i havent even scatched the surface of its potential usefulness!
cant wait to see what apps start pouring into app world now that so many people are getting PBs. looking forward to os2 in feb as well.
i really think this machine is going to be a power house by spring.
lol at "no games, going to return it" man i love being a grown up. hah

i'm not sure if they'll get a restock? pretty sure RIM stopped making the playbook or at least they should otherwise they'll be taking massive lost manufacturing playbooks and selling them almost at cost ~ your best chance will probably be in the states or maybe someone get bored of theirs and sell you at cost ~ otherwise buying a brand new @ cost in vancouver anyways is pretty slim

According to CrackBerry/BGR sources it won't be discontinued. Besides, now their phones are running BBX as well. Even if they discontinue it they will probably still support it.

Walmart.ca just restocked the 16gb version for all those who are interested. This is as of Nov 20 8:30pm. The one I ordered has an estimated arrival date of Nov 30 2011.
