Can't say I'm happy to see the Kings win the cup but they deserve it, they've played hard throughout the playoffs. One player i'm going to be really happy for will be Willie, his career was basically over but he worked hard to get where he is now and he deserves to lift the cup.

spideyv2 06-04-2012 10:07 PM

Dustin Brown and Drew Doughty...fuck

dbaz 06-04-2012 10:14 PM

i'm tired of seeing the team that beats the canucks constantly win the cup.

It's better than seeing a team eliminate the Canucks, then get swept in the next round!

AzNightmare 06-05-2012 09:11 AM

Same difference. Canucks lose means no cup.
Don't care about any fuzzy warm feelings whether its a team that ends up winning the cup or not.

The Montreal Canadiens named Michel Therrien as the team's next head coach on Tuesday

Kind of a funny but interesting tweet/stat from Jeff Paterson.

#Canucks Henrik Sedin deserves some kind of trophy. He had 5 pts vs LAK. No other player in #NHL playoffs has had more than 3

AzNightmare 06-05-2012 11:14 AM

Daniel had 2pts in 2games. So fuck you, Duncan Keith

This has got to be the most dominant playoff performance in NHL history, and it makes it even that much more ridiculous because they came in ranked last in the conference.

If it were Presidents Cup winners steamrolling everyone in its path, it would still be quite an accomplishment, but what the Kings are doing is beyond reality.

They should've been in 3rd if they didn't lose their last two games in OT near the end of the season. I thought I was going to fly to Phx for round 1.

Regardless of rankings, the Kings went into the playoffs with the second best goals against. It was a matter of time when their offense kicked in.

A team with Kopitar, Brown, Williams, Richards, Carter, Penner, Doughty. Firepower that's going to end up burning you.

Hopefully this won't be the last year for Brodeur. Sucks to see him retire losing a Stanley Cup finals like this.

They could have been Pres Cup winners too if they won all 82 games. They lost those games fair and square. Would have been interesting though the game they won in OT vs the Bluejackets I think where the clock stopped for a few seconds. It happened again in the Washington vs Boston playoff game and they came out to say after that if Boston scored within a certain timeframe that they would have disallowed it anyway. Ah wells regardless if they are 8th or 1st they are playing extremely well and deserve it even though I hate them.

I can't wait to see what Gillis does.

Vokoun and Tim Thomas are off the market, and with a bunch of teams looking for a number 1 goaltender (Toronto, Tampa, Florida? Philly?), the value of Luongo/ Schneider is at a all time high.

I read that Luongo doesn't wanna play in Vancouver anymore, which I hope isn't the case. I'd be willing to trade whoever nets the best return.

Trade both, start Lack? jk

Team 1040 said the 88 Oilers won the cup in 18 games (16 games won and 2 games lost 1 game was cancelled due to power outage)
