Manny played some pretty smart hockey against the Sharks a couple games ago. There's hope for him yet, I wouldn't rule him out so fast. Raymond is set to make his comeback tomorrow night, give him some time to prove himself too.
Without Manny, who is going to back up Cody/Lappy for those D-zone faceoffs?
Manny is valuable if only for that reason. Factor into what his teammates say he brings to the room in terms of leadership and chemistry, and he becomes increasingly important. Our 2nd line PK would drop off considerably as well without him.

I don't think anyone is advocating dropping Raymond altogether, but I would easily package a 100% Mason Raymond for Bobby Ryan.
