Do you size the same for Bushacre's just like the Desert boots? Size down half right? Any other differences between the two besides the bottom sole?

Which brand carries nice brown loafers? My Steven Madden pair is showing wear in between the soles.. lasted me 6 months. :(

Club Monaco has some real nice ones that ive been wearing to work on casual days, they do cost a pretty penny though but thankfully i had hookups from a buddy so i was able to get them for half off.

Want to invest in a pair of Loafers that I can wear with dress pants or dark jeans.
Was thinking a pair of either Ferragamo, or the Gucci Horsebit Loafers
They are both around the same $500-600 price point.
Which ones would u guys reccomend?
I'm going to try both styles when I get a chance.
Also what color would you reccomend?
Brown? Black?
I actually really like some of the brighter colors that Gucci offers such as the suede blue or red, but not sure of how versitle those would be.
