Does anyone actually really like Google+? I am a big fan of google, but feels like its all the google fanbois saying this is so great, but really, it's not that amazing. It seems like there's nothing to do on it and rarely anyone is using it to make it a big wow thing. Google should of done mass invites at the start to get everyone hooked instead of doing this closed shit and closed invites making it get a slow start. | I think G+ for now seems like a simpler FB.
But what's really awesome is the "circle" and "hangout".
Think Circle as a combination of FB status+Twitter. What's better is that you can actually limit the sharing depending on the preference.
Hangout is basically taking e-meeting to the next level. You can now be in a place, interact/share with others and your friends could either join you physically or virtually. It's really neat.
Last but not least is the integration of Picasa and youtube (google services). You can upload pics I think up to 2048*2048 resolution and videos up to 15min with virtually unlimited storage.
All in all, I think that what Google+ has to offer is social network with heavy integration to Google itself. And if you are using Google services daily (mail, docs, news... etc) you would find Google+ a great addition. |
