Yeah, I've signed up cause but they are full up for open registration. Right now it's invite only. I'm still hoping somebody sends one my way.

My space keeps eroding away at privacy and makes the user interface worse and worse. Just check out the monstrosity that is today's update. Most recent is now gone, it's in some stupid panel on the right side, it auto updates which is good, but it's built so you can't open stuff in multiple tabs. If I wanted restrictions, I'd be an apple fan boy.

I can't wait to jump ship.

I'm on android and my contact list, gmail, google maps, google navigation already talk to each other. I can't wait until google chat and voice get integrated too, and this will be how it's done.

i dont know about you guys but i got in not 2 mins ago.

this is what i did (hope it works for you)

on one tab i logged into gmail
on another tab i went to :
http://www.google.com/intl/en/+/demo/

and i clicked join the project button.
my email and name were already in it just asked me a couple things and next thing i knew i was in.

that was it.

hope it works for you guys LOL

I've got it but the invite option is not working atm. Perhaps a glitch on my end. PM email if you want invite

Edit: Invite works but there is a loophole. Instead of "inviting", you share a comment and type your invitee's e-mail there.

Kinda sounds like Diaspora. I wonder what this will do to them, since they've been trying to get going for some time now.

The loophole seems to be broken but i think a few should get it. Google releases a set amount of new members every hour

From what i hear google has stopped registration because of too much damand.

Serious question, is there any chance this thing could dethrone facebook?
