fucking construction at woodward making the cement all dirty and mushy walking on it FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

managed to get a comp at the Arts comp lab, hate those TAs who lock the doors so ppl cant get in

instantneedles 03-06-2012 09:28 AM

Yeah man woodward is pissing me the fuck off... It was worst when the mud was combined with wet snow.

You guys should see the area near swing building, they took down stairs that were perfectly fine. I swear to god, with all the construction going on, ubc is turning into combination of a zoo exhibit/maze/underdeveloped city.

woodward is kinda gated off so u hv to walk on the mud and shitt. Dirties my shoes and i'm afraid the mud might get onto my jeans FFUUUUUUUUUUUU. I have to walk from buchanan to woodward 3 times a week lol fucking far.

what grinds my gears at ubc: when ppl drive ultra slow on the one lane on southwest marine drive heading back to Van/Richmond FFUUUUUUUUUUU

and the light at 16th avenue that changes once another car reaches the light and u hv to brake so hard :fuckthatshit:

I found out today that I'll be at UBC for 3 more years to get my JD. So happy that I get to stay because I love this school!

Spectre_Cdn 03-12-2012 02:04 PM

Congrats!

3 more years to get a bottle Jack Daniels? :troll:

so what does jd stand for energy?

GGnoRE 03-12-2012 08:09 PM

I am guessing Juris Doctor?

From UBC website,

The Juris Doctor degree is granted on the successful completion of a three-year course and prepares students for admission to the practice of law (subject to further requirements that are set out below) and for business and public service. The number of students entering the practice of law in Canada has increased in the last few years and a degree in law is no guarantee of a position in either the necessary year of articles or in the practice of law.

Congrats to Energy.

Wow what a boss... Good luck on that! It's kinda sounds discouraging though when I read the part about having a law degree (which is years of hardwork) and not being at least somewhat guaranteed a position, but I guess life is what life is.

Energy 03-12-2012 10:11 PM

Nothing is guaranteed. If you're a med student you might not become a doctor, same as law or pharmacy or dentistry or any degree program. I'll just have to put in a lot of hard work and hope for the best. I thought getting into law school was hard but now that I'm in its what lies ahead that scares me.

Energy 03-12-2012 10:58 PM

I don't mind. It was a 3.75/4.3 or 81 which is actually still below their average. My LSAT score more than made up for it though :D
