Anyone take BIOL153 or PYSC101 that want to lend me their old stuff for the summer semester?

What was your LSAT score if you don't mind sharing?

It was a 170. More than enough to put me past their auto admit threshold.

Does anyone know if the meter parking in front of buchanan is cheaper at night? Does anyone know the exact rates / hour after say 6pm?

Thanks in advance !

Has anyone had Lucia Chung as an ECON TA before? She is now an instructor at SFU. If this is her, she TA'd at UBC before

Does anyone know what the detour on southwest marine drive was about? I think they were filming in those mansions again causing the cluster fuck.

Or was it a crime incident today? Emergency and police were on scene with lights all flashing.

Filming at Casa Mia again I think?

Shes pretty chill, not too sure about marking though but I was in her office during her office hours and she was pretty close with her students. She teaches mostly writing econ courses and actually gives pointers to students on how to tackle the prof during assignments and tests. Just talk to her, she has students from like 2/3 semesters ago visiting her, shes really nice too as a friend.

funny how I went into ubc thread for the lulz and read this...

at least film at night or on the weekend or something, they clogged up southwest marine. Don't even know why the City of Vancouver would allow it :heckno:

Woot!! Got an email telling me I'm eligible for scholarships... Does anyone have tips for applications? I probably won't get anything since I haven't been very active in helping out the school/volunteering for the school... I've only helped out with a charity event...

What effect will the TA strike have on us?

instantneedles 03-31-2012 10:46 AM

^ well from what I heard, the decisions already been made, but the details of the strike and the actions that will be taken have not been confirmed yet. As far as I know, all my TA's are still marking my exams (as much as I wish they didn't) and things are still continuing as they are. And apparently its not just a TA strike, its a strike for a whole bunch of other workers as well (ie. construction workers, cafeteria workers, etc). I have no idea why construction workers would want to go on a strike though, they're getting more than enough work as it is, and most of the money going into the construction is pouring from OUR pockets. Like seriously, its ridiculous how they are tearing down the stairs at woodward, and at the building beside swing so they can build a new set of stairs that would look aesthetically more appealing. The stairs were functional, and that's all that matters. /rant
