GM Place and Nat Bailey Stadium are associated with Aramark. If I'm correct, the job fair for GM place started 2 weeks ago.. so you might be out of luck for that. Unfortunately, you're probably gonna have to dog it for the next few years until you're of age for other places.. :alone: |
I worked at the Please Mum factory that packs clothes and ships stuff to stores during my teen years. First year I worked at London Drugs selling cameras and computers. London Drugs is a pretty chill job and most of what I did was just play around with stuff and show people things about products that I already enjoy. London Drugs FTMFW. |
When I was a teen the best job I ever had was working at Famous Players. Working with bunch of kids your age and a perfect spot to pick up females as well. Not only that the free movies kicked ass. If you are young looking for a job go to a theater |
^agreed, tho they tend to hire a lot of retarded people.. according to a couple of my friends who happen to be cineplex managers. only downside is sometimes you get off work at 2am |
Hmm, theatre seems fun meeting new people but its just inconvient to get to haha. atm it takes me like 10 minutes to get to work. I guess i'll just have to deal with it till next year. I was planning on getting a 2nd job as a waiter due to all the stories i heard about tips $_$ |
^ Just as long as your not a hostess, heard its a horrible jobb to have. Bus tables + low pay + stand in the front bored + no tips. :fuckthatshit: |
^ that sounds like hell, i guess the only motivation would be how much money you make. but no tip + low pay :fuckthatshit: |
I think an IMPORTANT piece of advice for someone your age with little to no experience, DON'T GET SUCKED INTO A PYRAMID SCHEME, if it sounds too good to be true and a quick google search gets you words like SCAM/RANT etc. don't join and make sure you don't give them any of your savings |
Went to apply at 5 fast food locations yesterday.. hope one of em calls back! :D |
^ gotta start somewhere! |

i don't think it's possible for me to refer any of you since i'm still a newbie, but i'll give you guys the e-mail fbstaff@bcpavco.com ^ attach your resume to the e-mail, and apply for Concession. also try writing a brief paragraph about yourself and other job-related stuff; it'll probably help good luck the cheerleaders during the BC Lions game ... :megusta: |

^ usually it's whenever Lions games are so the schedule isn't very regular (sometimes games get cancelled, etc. etc.) and you may only get 1 shift a week or every couple of weeks. It really depends. Sometimes you do concerts and/or other shows. A shift (for a Lions game which you will probably be doing most often) is usually around 5pm or 6pm til about 11pm or 12am. It varies for other events. |
if u have a car that ur family barely uses.... be a delivery driver. |
