I tried one of the "Heist" last night, it honestly felt just like another mission. It was a heist involving 4 players, we had to hijack a prison bus. Once we lost the cops it was all done. Rewarded with $15,000.

I'm sure there's probably better heists, but the one I played last night wasn't that crazy.

Earlier I tried playing heist online for the first time, and I couldn't even play one heist/mission with strangers in 45 mins. Some of them were full; some, the heist leader would quit and on some, 1 members would leave, and it's over.

I have a PS3, and I've notice a lot of loading(waiting).

You do realize that's just a heist setup mission, right?

How Heists works:
-Leader pays a sum to start up the heist (in that heist, 40k). There are anywhere between 2-4 setup heists that obviously setup for the final heist.
The leader does not get paid in any of the setup missions leading up to the final mission (in that heist, there's four setup missions).

-The other three completing the heist are paid a sum (15k in that heist) for every setup mission.

-The final heist pays a greater potential sum; in that heist, it's 500k total that is split among the four. The leader gets a bigger cut because he did not earn money from setups, and paid the setup fee to start the heists.
By the end of that specific heist (Prison bus heist), you should net at least 200k+. (You get 100k for completing it for the first time)

Get far enough away from the other car (fly somewhere) and call the mechanic to deliver your main car. Your secondary car will go back to the garage and he'll deliver your main.

You could also put your secondary in the garage and take out your main and use that and it'll keep the other car in the garage.

All the missions pay out based on time now.

<2 minutes pays 12.5% of maximum
2-3 minutes pays 25%
3-4 minutes pays 37.5%
4-6 minutes pays 50% (highest $/minute @ 4 minutes)
6-8 minutes pays 60%
8-10 minutes pays 70%
10-12 minutes pays 80%
12-16 minutes pays 90%
16+ minutes pays 100%

The higher the unlock level, the higher the payout (maximum = $18000+$60/level on Hard).

I usually aim for 4:05 as some missions seem to start the clock late for whatever reason. 2 and 3 minutes may seem to pay equally per minute as 4, but you have to factor in the ~1 minute for cut scene plus loading the next mission.

Using a $20k max payout as an example.

1 minute = 0.125*20000 = $2500 /2 = $1250/minute
2 minutes = 0.25*20000 = $5000 /3 = $1667/minute
3 minutes = 0.375*20000 = $7500 /4 = $1875/minute
4 minutes = 0.5*20000 = $10000 /5 = $2000/minute
5 minutes = 0.5*20000 = $10000 /6 = $1667/minute
6 minutes = 0.6*20000 = $12000 /7 = $1714/minute
7 minutes = 0.6*20000 = $12000 /8 = $1500/minute
8 minutes = 0.7*20000 = $14000 /9 = $1556/minute
9 minutes = 0.7*20000 = $14000 /10 = $1400/minute
10 minutes = 0.8*20000 = $16000 /11 = $1455/minute
11 minutes = 0.8*20000 = $16000 /12 = $1333/minute
12 minutes = 0.9*20000 = $18000 /13 = $1385/minute
13 minutes = 0.9*20000 = $18000 /14 = $1286/minute
14 minutes = 0.9*20000 = $18000 /15 = $1200/minute
15 minutes = 0.9*20000 = $18000 /16 = $1125/minute
16 minutes = 1*20000 = $20000 /17 = $1176/minute

Best not to do the same mission over and over as the time it takes to load in and out of freeroam severely reduces your $/minute.

After you do a mission, you'll get a screen that gives you a Random Mission option and 5 other missions to choose from. Generally speaking, the higher-rated missions tend to be easy and quick to complete, so I recommend choosing the highest-rated mission. Use a stop watch app to maximize your $/minute.

If you don't have a Buzzard (attack helicopter), some missions may be difficult or impossible to complete, plus it saves you boatloads of $ in ammo and explosives. I highly recommend purchasing a Buzzard if you plan to grind missions. It costs $1.75M, but you can get 10% off your first purchase if you Like Warstock Cache & Carry's Lifeinvader page on your GTA V phone app (make sure you're playing GTA Online while you do it otherwise it'll apply to Story mode).

If you continuously do 4-minute missions on Hard, you should be able to make about $120,000/hour.

gta 5 online patch 1.24 allows you to duplicate cars

fuck its so hard for me to focus on actually getting things done in this game. i just like to fuck around and geek out on cars the entire time. i own 3 apartments with the 10 garage lol. all full. one is all super cars other one is luxury cars and the last one is full of muscle cars.
