That is correct. You go through Rockstar Social Club, directly.

You can add it as "Non-Steam" game. Click on the Games menu, and select "Add a Non-Steam game to My Library". Select GTAVLauncher.exe as the executable. To get it to work, you'll need to adjust the Windows file properties of GTAVLauncher. Navigate to it's location, right-click on it and click Properties. Click on the Compatibility tab, and select Run As Administrator. Click OK. Try running it through Steam.

I bought a xbox one controller straight up so I could play GTA on PC :D super easy just plug in play with micro usb and it will auto recognize it.

these new cars are pretty damn dope. i love that mercedes 300sl in the game, the crackling and burbling sounds coming from the exhaust after you let off the throttle are so addicting. i just crank my headset up and cruise in that car with no music playing. lol
